I am a girl, but I completely agree with this. Sick of floral shit everywhere!
Re-watching Firefly again and in episode 11 (“Trash”), I noticed that in the very distant future, computers run XP and require for new hardware to go through the installation process.
This quilt is a test for me, in 2 ways.
- To reduce my fabric scraps in an effort to make more space. (So far, it doesn’t seem to be working.)
- To teach myself that I don’t always have to work feverishly on projects, to just chillax and not just burn myself out each time I make something big. Hand sewing is most definitely not a problem for me, so I figured I’d be able to watch stuff while lying in bed and sewing. I sleep dangerously apparently.
To tell you the truth, it looks like I’m creating a monster, but I’ll finish the damn thing nonetheless!
Beta-testing the latest Dropbox, where you can upload directly to your videos and photos and you get 500mb space free for every 500mb you upload from a camera, phone etc. (up to 10gb).
I have a LOT of photos to upload, Dropbox thinks so too.

Sometimes I wish I was unemployed so that I could sew all day. But then it hits me that if I were unemployed, I wouldn’t be able to afford all the lovely fabrics that I pick up.
So I wish I were rich so I didn’t have to work and could just sew all day.
Ooohh, I’m all a-flattered! Mr X Stitch is following me on Tumblr, sweet! He’s a lovely fella, despite the “angry” look he’s giving :)
I was doing the “oh Christ, I think I may burst out laughing whilst doing this angry look” look.
Pity I was fairly dumbstruck while talking to him, but I was doing my best to be cool and not all “OMG!” and making noises that only dogs could hear.
